Jamal Musiala is a German attacking midfielder who plays for Bayern Munich and the Germany national team. One of the brightest players of his generation, he is known for his dribbling, technique, and goal-scoring ability. For his style of ball control, he earned the nickname “Bambi.”

He was born to a Nigerian-British father and a German mother of Polish descent. He spent his childhood in Fulda and moved to England with his family at the age of seven. He studied at Whitgift School and progressed through the academies of Fulham, Brentford, Wimbledon, and later Chelsea. At 16, he returned to Germany — one of the reasons was Brexit.

In July 2019, he transferred from Chelsea to Bayern.

On 3 June 2020, he made his professional debut for Bayern II, and on 20 June he debuted in the Bundesliga, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to appear in the league (17 years and 115 days).

On 30 October 2024, he scored the first hat-trick of his career (German Cup).

On 14 February 2025, he extended his contract with the club until 2030.

In the summer of 2025, he received the number 10 shirt.
