Biography

Jude Victor William Bellingham grew up in a family with football roots: his father, Mark Bellingham, was a police sergeant and a prolific non-league striker. From an early age, Jude stood out for his maturity and versatility—he played in central midfield, worked hard off the ball, and showed strong tactical intelligence.

The Birmingham City pathway

He joined the Birmingham City system at under-eight level and progressed through the entire academy. In August 2019, Bellingham made his first-team debut at 16 years and 38 days, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history. In the 2019/20 season, he established himself as a regular starter, and after he left the club his number 22 was retired—an extremely rare gesture for a teenager.

Move to Borussia Dortmund

In the summer of 2020, Bellingham joined Borussia Dortmund for a fee of around £25 million—at the time making him the most expensive 17-year-old footballer in history. He scored on his debut and became the youngest goalscorer in the club’s history. Over three seasons in Germany, he played 132 matches, won the German Cup (2020/21), and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season (2022/23).

Real Madrid and peak recognition

In 2023, Bellingham moved to Real Madrid for €103 million (with potential bonuses up to ~€134 million). In his very first season, he became the club’s top scorer in La Liga, won the Spanish league title and the UEFA Champions League, and also received the La Liga Player of the Season award. He was named to the FIFPRO World 11 for three consecutive years (2023–2025) and finished third in the Ballon d’Or and FIFA The Best voting in 2024.

England national team

Bellingham made his England debut in 2020. He featured at Euro 2020, the 2022 World Cup, and Euro 2024, where he became one of the team’s leaders and scored a spectacular overhead kick in the round of 16 against Slovakia.

Personal Life

Bellingham was born into a multicultural family: he has Irish roots on his father’s side and Kenyan roots on his mother’s. His parents—Denise and Mark—played a key role in his upbringing and character development. His younger brother, Jobe, also became a professional footballer.

Education

Jude received private education at Priory School (Edgbaston, Birmingham), and in 2021 he graduated from Loughborough College, earning a BTEC Level 3 sports diploma— even at the peak of his career he did not give up on education.

Personal brand and partnerships

Outside football, Bellingham actively develops his personal brand. He works with Adidas (released his own JB collection), became the face of Lucozade, took part in a Skims campaign, is a “Friend of the House” for Louis Vuitton, and twice became a face of the EA Sports FC franchise. In 2025, he launched his own mobile app, JB5.

Media

In 2024, he launched an official YouTube channel in a documentary format about life in Madrid.

In his logic, when you’ve got several “give me the ball and step aside” guys on the...

Real Win Again — And Leave a Ton of Questions (But Alonso Survives for Now)

Real’s last match of 2025 felt weirdly familiar: the scoreboard looks nice, but the vibe from the performance is… kinda unsettling. They shut Sevilla out 2-0; Bellingham and Mbappé scored, and the real MVP (not by stats, but by impact) was Rodrygo. And yeah, this win honestly feels like the one that...

Adidas made a mini spy movie out of football boots: red Predator vs yellow F50 — and the “reds” have a council of elders
