In their first Group A game of FIBA EuroBasket Women 2025, Ekrem Memnun’s side will face one of the continent’s strongest opponents—France. The contest tips off today at 17:30 in the “Peace and Friendship” Arena in Piraeus, a suburb of Athens, and will be broadcast live on TRT Spor. In the group’s other match, hosts Greece will test themselves against Switzerland; tip-off is set for 20:30.

Tournament Format

The final stage of the championship, co-hosted by Germany, Czechia, Italy and Greece, will feature 16 national teams split into four groups of four.

The top two teams in each group advance directly to the quarter-finals. Quarter-final winners reach the prestigious “Final Four,” while the losers continue in placement games to determine final standings. The tournament concludes with bronze- and gold-medal games.
