The story looked too perfect not to believe. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. training in Madrid, Real Madrid nearby — and it almost felt like a continuation of the dynasty was inevitable. But the reality, according to the latest reports, is far more restrained.

According to Cope, the Madrid club is not considering signing the 15-year-old forward — despite his appearance at the academy. The training itself is confirmed: Ronaldo Jr. did indeed work with the U-16 team, and it had previously been framed as a possible step toward joining “La Fábrica.”

The context behind this story is not about a transfer, but rather a forced situation. Ronaldo’s son is currently in Madrid due to the situation in the Middle East and is temporarily unable to train within Al-Nassr’s system. Therefore, the sessions in Spain appear to be a temporary solution rather than the beginning of a new chapter.

At the same time, the surname naturally plays its role. Cristiano Sr. is a figure tied to an entire era at Real Madrid: 450 goals, four Champions League titles, and the status of the club’s all-time top scorer. Against this backdrop, any move involving his son automatically becomes a headline.

Still, for now, this is not a story about a return, but rather a coincidence of circumstances. Ronaldo Jr. is already making a name for himself — he has been called up to Portugal’s U-15 national team and has already scored his debut goal. Interest in him will only continue to grow.

The real question is whether Real Madrid will become part of that journey — or if this was just a brief episode that sounded louder because of the name.
