Federico Valverde was born on July 22, 1998, in Montevideo. He began his career at the local club Estudiantes de la Unión, after which he joined the Peñarol academy. At just 17, he made his debut for the first team and became the champion of Uruguay.
In 2016, he joined Real Madrid, where he initially played for Castilla. To gain playing experience, he was loaned to Deportivo, where he spent a full season in La Liga.
Since 2018, he has established himself in Real Madrid’s first team. His breakthrough came in the 2019–2020 season under Zidane, when he became an important part of the midfield. Over time, he developed into one of the team’s key players, winning several La Liga and Champions League titles.
