A New ‘Attack’ on Barça’s Rising Star

The buzz from Lamine Yamal’s beach snapshots with Fati Vázquez had barely died down when the 16-year-old forward found himself at the center of another non-football drama. This time former adult actress Claudia Bavel burst into the press box, claiming that the young attacking midfielder was bombarding her with unequivocal invitations.

Who Is Claudia Bavel and Why Is Everyone Talking About Her?

The Spaniard appeared in only a few dozen adult films before leaving the industry. She then pivoted to social media, where she often draws more clicks than some mid-table La Liga fixtures. Bavel keeps her profile high with sensational statements: last winter she boasted of a fling with legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas, and later hinted at flirting with Luís Figo—until the Portuguese icon threatened legal action, forcing her to beat a swift retreat.

Bavel’s Version: “I Have a Whole Archive of Messages”

Bavel’s new “game plan” rests on her claim that Yamal has showered her with private voice notes and texts since September 2024:

“I have a thousand messages where he invites me to private parties and says it’s fine to ‘be with him,’ even though he knows he’s underage. I rejected him every single time,” Bavel insists.

She says the teenage talent practically begged for a tête-à-tête and now allegedly pressures her to “keep the dirty laundry in-house.”

Yamal’s Response: “Not a Single Ball Reached the Penalty Area”

The Barça player counter-attacked the very next day. Lamine produced a screenshot in which Claudia admits the whole story is fabricated and that no private meetings ever happened.

“She can’t come to my house; I live with my mother, and she wouldn’t let any girl in. We have never been alone together,” Yamal stresses. “She says she doesn’t meet with minors, and that’s true—because I told her ‘no’ right away.”

Essentially, both sides are now playing defense, accusing each other of simulation.

When a PR Campaign Goes Offside

Bavel quickly shifted her narrative: she now claims Yamal actually lives alone and was the one pushing for a rendezvous. She also asks followers to stop sending her “defamatory” messages. The saga resembles an endless VAR review in which no camera angle provides irrefutable proof of a foul.

Yamal’s reputation as the future star of the Blaugrana and the Spanish national team is on the line. For Bavel, it’s another headline that tabloids will pay for as eagerly as clubs shell out for top-tier transfers.

The Role of Figo and Casillas: The Veterans’ Shadow

The former Real Madrid captain and Spain’s ex-goalkeeper have long retired, yet their names still trigger an emotional surge among fans. Claudia has already used them in her “press releases.” Figo, unwilling to play in such a “match,” immediately went in hard with the threat of a lawsuit—a yellow card that cooled Bavel’s fervor, but only briefly.

Final Whistle? Hardly

For now the “match” ends without a clear winner: the Bavel–Yamal duel has quieted down, but extra time in the information arena is always possible. The yellow press will keep watching: will concrete evidence of the footballer’s guilt emerge, or will the spat become just another clickbait flop?

Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal must steer public attention back to his dribbling and goal instinct rather than someone else’s screenshots. After all, supporters come to the stadium for brilliant goals, not to watch rumors try to slot an easy one past an empty net.
