Jérémy Baffour Doku was born on May 27, 2002, in Antwerp. He started playing football at an early age, progressing through the academies of Olympic Deurne, Tubantia Borgerhout, and Beerschot before joining Anderlecht's system at the age of 10.
At 16, Doku made his debut for Anderlecht’s first team and quickly attracted attention thanks to his speed and dribbling. By 17, he had become an important player for the club and one of the most promising young footballers in Belgium.
