Biography of Jérémy Doku

Jérémy Baffour Doku was born on May 27, 2002, in Antwerp. He started playing football at an early age, progressing through the academies of Olympic Deurne, Tubantia Borgerhout, and Beerschot before joining Anderlecht's system at the age of 10.

At 16, Doku made his debut for Anderlecht’s first team and quickly attracted attention thanks to his speed and dribbling. By 17, he had become an important player for the club and one of the most promising young footballers in Belgium.

In 2020, Jérémy Doku transferred to French club Rennes for €26 million, becoming the most expensive signing in the club’s history at the time. His early seasons were affected by injuries, but in the 2022–2023 season he regained form and became a key player for the team.

In the summer of 2023, Doku signed for Manchester City for €65 million. In his debut season, he won the Premier League, quickly adapted to English football, and became one of the most dangerous wingers in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
